I always wondered whether I was on the right path in life.
As my life began to expand to bigger and greater levels, this question is one that dominated my thoughts. Is there something greater I should be doing or achieving? I am on purpose in my life? What if I am not fulfilling my true potential?
What I have come to learn is that this adventure we call life, is an ongoing journey of intertwined experiences and life lessons, tailored to each one of us. So whatever you are doing, whatever relationship you are in, that’s it. You are already on your path. These experiences are here to help you learn the lessons necessary for you to grow into your most creative and divine self.
A course in miracles, as explained by the wonderful Marianne Williamson, teaches that everything fabulous that could happen in our lives is already programmed in the ethers of the Universe. Like a file in a computer, the blueprint is already stored there. Our heart is the key to unlocking this divinity. The key point here is that our hearts must be open in order to download the possibility on earth as it is in heaven.
My friend Judgement
I realised quickly that if I stay in a place of judgement, of myself or others, then I will stay feeling judged and be unable to open my heart up so as to ‘download my destiny’. However, if I choose to release this judgement, and move to a place of love, then I am allowing myself to download my personal file, and tune in to the divine guidance that is available. The quickest way to open our hearts and move to a place of love, is through Gratitude.
Since attending my first live seminar with the great teacher Bob Proctor, I have consistently kept a gratitude journal in which I jot down my list of ten things I am grateful for that day. These range from the big events in my life, to the simple feeling of the sun on my face. The vibrational shift that comes when we move towards gratitude allows us to access this computer file and download our divine destiny.
“Gratitude is an attitude that hooks us up to our source of supply. And the more grateful you are, the closer you become to your maker, to the architect of the Universe, to the spiritual core of your being. It’s a phenomenal lesson.” – Bob Proctor
Now I know for sure, that once I approach my life with a feeling of gratitude, of love, I will be endlessly guided to my highest possibility. Even if that interview doesn’t work out, or that relationship ends, once I stay in a place of love, I know that it was simply not meant for me. I need not worry or doubt anymore.
The ebb and flow of the life trail around me, is all perfectly carved, as it is for each one of us unique beings.
After all, we are each on our own, indivual, divine spiritual journey.
